Tamper Evident Bags are biohazard specimen bags typically used in medicinal and pharmaceutical applications. These bags feature a bold, legible warning and three layers of protection to safely transport and store potentially hazardous biochemicals.

The biohazard bag is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material that is certified by both OSHA and the CDC. The LDPE plastic is durable and resistant to punctures and tears. Additionally, this bag is designed with three protective walls, preventing contaminants from entering the bag and the contents inside from leaking out. As a tamper-deterring bag, it has a special seal at the opening that makes it obvious to workers if the bag has been opened or altered. These bags feature either a standard “Biohazard” message, or a “STAT” message for items with a short turnaround time.
