Poly bags are made from low-energy polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) and therefore require specialized tape to properly cling to their low-energy surfaces. Poly bag dispensers not only accommodate the thin width of poly bag tape, but they also provide a system for quickly and efficiently sealing poly bags. The tape is simply mounted in place and pulled across the top, adhesive side up. Then all you have to do is twist the top of the poly bag and push it through the slot at the top of the dispenser, ending up with a perfectly sealed poly bag.
