Printed Kraft Tape is a gummed paper tape commonly used in the commercial and industrial packaging industry. This robust tape provides a powerful, water-activated adhesive and a warning message for workers.

Kraft tape is made from kraft paper, a super-strong paper material made from chemically treated wood pulp. The paper is coated on one side with a starch-based adhesive that, when activated with a light layer of water, forms a powerful and secure seal; the adhesive penetrates the fibers of cartons and boxes, creating a tamper-proof seal that cannot be broken without damaging the tape or the package underneath. As an additional measure of tamper-proofing, these tapes feature a message: “THIS CARTON HAS BEEN SEALED WITH PILFER PROOF TAPE IF THIS SEAL IS BROKEN CHECK CONTENTS BEFORE ACCEPTANCE”.
